Islamic celebrations (Eid al-Fitr – Eid al-Adha – Islamic New Year – the Prophet’s birthday – the memory of the Isra and Mi’raj) are the feasts and occasions that constitute contemplative stations in the life of every Muslim. Other meanings and indications that must be invoked, as in our celebration of the Night Journey and Al-Miraj.
